Jump into spring …
Jumpsuits are gracing Spring 2009 collections from the likes of Dolce and Gabbana, Stella McCartney and Gucci and are a key look for Spring/Summer 09. There is something quite childlike and innocent about the jumpsuit or the aptly named shorter playsuit.
It brings you back to your childhood; hopscotch, pigtails and having a crush on the boy next door. You may never get that dream job or marry your childhood sweetheart but at least now whatever you’re doing, you can look good doing it.
Choose a jumpsuit in bold bright colours or wild animal prints, sophisticated neutrals or this season’s subdued hues like salmon pink, sea green and caribbean blue. Whether you’re glamming it up or playing it down, add some cheeky accessories like a pair of statement platforms, chunky bracelets or a sexy clutch.
Contrary to the name though, it’s probably not the best outfit to wear if you’re jumping out of a plane or need to make a quick escape. Celebs jumping on the jumpsuit bandwagon are Victoria Beckham, Heidi Klum, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sienna Miller.

I am loving jumpsuits for spring this year. I’m not usually a fan but I might give it a go. Gorgeous shoes and nice twist on the peep toe!
Very pretty! I love the colour of that jumpsuit. I might buy one this spring if it looks flattering. It’s an easy wear as long as you don’t go to the bathroom too much. TMI!
Cute post! My friend bought a strapless jumpsuit a few months ago, and it looks awesome. If someone just said ‘jumpsuit’ to me I’d probably laugh, but seeing it on someone you know (and not just some catwalk model) makes me love them.
