30 is the new black

The episode starts with the girls receiving Jodhi mail and t-shirts that read ‘Prepare to know your fashion’. Alex says that she has more knowledge than anyone else and that she will show the other girls up this week. Jodhi arrives at the house with Fernando Frisoni who is a fashion writer for the Sun Herald. He goes through their wardrobes, gives them a critique on their clothes and sets them a challenge to dress for various events. Caris asks Alex for help on her outfit but is criticised by Fernando who says that she has no style at all but loves Alex’s wardrobe choices. Alyce narrates that Alex may have sabotaged Caris in the challenge and she is surprised as they are supposed to be friends. One thing is for certain, there are no such things as friends in this competition especially at this stage of the competition.

The episode starts with Leiden and Jamie leaving the house. The conversation quickly turns to Alex lying about making low fat cupcakes in the house in an underhanded attempt to fatten the other models up. Caris narrates that at the start she was told that she needed to work on her diet and her skin and now things have changed with the other girls being told they need to lose weight. The contestants are feeling nervous anticipation as the series draws to a close. Jodhi announces that they will be going to Fiji for their photshoots.

The episode starts with Emma leaving the house. Alamela narrates that her bedroom is starting to empty out with Kamila and Emma leaving the house. Demelza says that she thinks Alyce is happy to see Emma go and that she doesn’t believe in Alyce or anything she says anymore. The next morning at the house, Jonathan Pease walks to salsa music playing in the background and looking like he means business in a suit. He says that modelling is a serious business and it’s time to get serious.

They walk into a gorgeous open plan apartment with wall to wall windows and far reaching city views. Justin Bobby reiterates to Audrina that she needs a place to come to where she feels at home. Cue music.

The episode with Kristy leaving. Jamie says that she was one of her closest friends in the house and everyone cried when she left. Demelza said it was sad to see her go. Ian Thorpe arrives on a boat to give the girls Jodhi mail and a physical challenge they will never forget. He says it will also be a test of mental strength.
